Following the great access created by our new weed-boat, the Willowgate was fishing very well. This 5lb fish took a deeper Bronze Bear and was landed by Dr Hay.

Willowgate trout fishery- Craig Matheson enjoyed a good day today at Willowgate with 6 fish landed on traditional Wet flies. Kate McLaren and Peter Ross were the patterns doing the damage.

Willowgate trout fishery- Willowgate fished well today despite the strong easterly wind. Fly of the dat was a coral dancer.

Willowgate trout fishery- There are some very large trout being caught at Willowgate with doubles featuring regularly in catches again. As the water temp begins to cool the larger fish become more active and are contacted more often than during the summer

Willowgate trout fishery- A cracking rainbow caught today at Willowgate, not bad for your first ever fish. The loch fished very well today with trout rising steadily all day. The new weed cutting boat is working really well with only the top end of the loch needing work.
