Willowgate trout fishery- Busy weekend at the fishery

Willowgate trout fishery- It was another busy weekend at the trout fishery with 65 rods fishing during Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday the Mayfly angling club landed 17 for 37lb plus plenty released. Jonny Tod landed 19 on a catch and release ticket and James Lister had another huge catch landing 22. The trout are still very active in the cooling water temperatures with buzzers accounting for the largest catches. Blue trout are also featuring heavily in catches.
