Willowgate trout fishery- Hard fighting rainbows in the clear water

Willowgate trout fishery- The trout are fighting hard in the clear water. Some big catches are being made with some doubles starting to show up in catches. Frank Williams landed 14 on catch on release on Saturday with the biggest estimated at 12lb. The quality of the blues being landed are excellent with fully finned 3-4lbers being caught regularly. Check your knots regularly because our blues are vicious fighters.

Willowgate trout fishery- 4lb rainbow as first fish

Willowgate trout fishery- A cracking rainbow caught today at Willowgate, not bad for your first ever fish. The loch fished very well today with trout rising steadily all day. The new weed cutting boat is working really well with only the top end of the loch needing work.
